Q: How do you charge for service and equipment?
Each of our events is based upon the wants and needs of the client. Various circumstances including the equipment needed, duration of the event, location, and number of guests ultimately determine a final price. We do charge a flat rate for our base services and a refundable security deposit dependent on the quantity of equipment you would like to reserve. We only collect a security deposit if you do not opt for our bartending and on-premise services. Prices are flexible regarding the need for certain services and additional costs are allocated on an individual basis. Please contact us for a free quote or make a reservation!

Q: Do you take Debit / Credit Cards?
Yes! We accept cash, check, or process credit/debit payments! A small processing fee is applied to credit/debit payments.
Q: Does Ideal Brew supply the beer?
Ideal Brew is NOT a beer distributor or manufacturer. We can not purchase or sell alcoholic beverages. Ideal Brew is a draft beer equipment rental, catering, and bartending service company. We provide our clients with a strong knowledge of the growing craft beer industry and provide distributor and brewery connections to help you procure and dispense kegs for your special occasion!
Q: Where can I purchase kegs?
Ideal Brew can assist you in locating distributors and breweries based upon your location and help you navigate their product inventories. We have business relationships with local distributors and breweries if you would like our help to obtain distinct beers. Once purchased we provide pick up, delivery, dispensing, and return. Q: How much beer do I need for my event?
Q: If you return the kegs I purchased how do I get my deposit back?
For your convenience we will gladly return empty kegs and provide you a credit to your final billing price at the cost of your deposit per keg.
Q: Can Ideal Brew accommodate bottled beer?
Absolutely! Typically, kegs are cheaper than bottled beer, but bottles can offer a greater variety for your guests. We have additional refrigeration and coolers to help keep your bottle beer cold and ready to serve. Plus! The trailer is your own personal walk in cooler!
Q: Can Ideal Brew accommodate wine & liquor?
Yes! We have all of the bar equipment needed to mix cocktails and pour wines. We also have the equipment to provide draft cocktails! Additionally, all of our draft equipment is 304 stainless steel which is excellent for dispensing keg wine & keg spirits! We have certified bartenders and experienced mixologists to help make your event first-rate. We can also help you design a cocktail menu if you'd like to provide your guests with spirits. Please, just provide us with the bottles of liquor or wines you would like and we will take care of the rest!
Q: How do you determine if additional staffing is needed?
Included in our base service is a certified and qualified bartender. We recommend/determine additional staffing based upon the size and duration of your event. The general rule is that there should be 1 bartender for every 75 guests for a beer and wine reception. If you have a full bar with cocktails and/or a formal reception, we recommend 1 bartender for every 50 guests.
All additional staff is priced by the hour, with a $25/hr fee added for each additional bartender.
Q: How far will you travel to my event?
We include in our base service travel up to 20 miles of zip code: 19971.
However, we are a mobile business for a reason! We are more than happy to travel and provide quality draft systems and service for your event! Services outside 20 miles driving distance of zip code 19971 are subject to additional charges to cover necessary travel expenses. Contact us to see if we can help provide our mobile taproom and bartending services at your next event!
Q: Do I need a liquor license for my event?
No. For private parties or events, Ideal Brew is just the best alternative to a keg bucket and party pump for providing quality cold dispensed beer for your guests! However, if you want us to sell what we will be pouring, special occasion licenses need to be obtained if money changes hands - even if it's a donation.
Q: Does Ideal Brew have a liquor license?
No. We do not have a license for the purchase and resale of alcohol. Which means we can not provide a “cash bar” for your event. We simply provide our quality service and dispensing equipment. We can however, provide you the information and contacts to help you with procuring the necessary permits if your desire is to host a donation based or revenue generating event.
